It is common knowledge that the holidays won’t be the best time to indulge in MLM marketing programs. But, you could work out some means to make the best of the holidays to bring in some profit to your MLM business. There are many means to get the attention of the people even when they are holidaying.

1. Have you send then ‘fruit’ gifts?

For the holidays season, there is nothing better than sending people gifts. Make your gift a small fruit box, painted with your company’s colours and place some samples of your product in it.

Also, place an invitation to attend a meeting or seminar for no charge so they can learn more. You can send fruit boxes to everyone you know.

2. Christmas cards and an audio greeting

Along with the cards you usually send for Christmas or Thanksgiving, include a CD which carries your message about wishes for the holidays. Initiate a talk with a line about how you would want to brief them once they are free about your program. This is sure to intrigue them and they would want to call you.

3. There’s no better time to call for a celebration

During the holidays, invite customers to your place for a lunch, dinner or a party.

Hand out some gifts and make them feel appreciated. In subtle hints, you can talk about forthcoming business and referrals. If you make them feel good, they will bring you good business.

4. An open house could help

If you are part of a network, organize an open house at anybody’s large house. Invite people and ask them to bring guests along. It will be a holiday party but you can keep suggesting about business in the post-holiday season. A party sponsored by your firm will get some attention.

5. Send mails to neighbours

Refer to any yellow pages or the local library and find out who are the neighbours you have not met or are not aware of. Make a list of such people and their addresses. You can send them holiday greetings with a card or letter. In the correspondence, also mention that you are the representative in the area.

Once you have made a connection, don’t let it break. When the holidays are over, seek an appointment with these people to explain about your products.

6. Don’t miss gatherings of the community

You need to remember that the keyword is connect.

Holidays are the best time to connect with new people, whom you can approach after the season. Community gatherings are another great avenue to meet new and more people.

During the holidays, go out, make friends and share a gift or token so that they remember you. Also, everyone you talk to should be able to get back to you, so, give them your cards.

7. Talk about success during holidays

Prepare a card with a write-up about things such as leadership, goals, time management and success. If you send such cards, people will remember you.
